Blueberry Oatmeal Smoothie
When feeling under the weather, a healthy and tasty smoothie is just what the doctor prescribed. This smoothie is both tasty and healthy. This meal will leave you feeling great from the moment you put it in your mouth until the moment the last drop of your favorite milk has been absorbed since it is loaded with wholesome, juicy blueberries, plenty of fiber from traditional rolled oats, and your favorite milk.
Ingredients Needed For Making This Item
- Rolled oats 45 grams
- Flaxseed meal 1/2 Tbsp, this is optional
- Ice cubes
- Plain yogurt of choice, 190 grams
- 3 sliced frozen bananas in medium size
- Blueberries of 170 grams
- Milk of choice of 240 – 360 ml
Directions
- FILL the blender with the oats, and then turn it on.
- To the milled flaxseed, add (if using).
- To get the oats to the desired consistency, pulse the blender several times while running at full power.
- Blend together some ice and the flavoured yoghurt of your choice.
- The components should be blitzed until the blender is completely clean.
- The inclusion of frozen bananas is recommended.
- Repeatedly blend until the contents of the blender can be easily moved about.
- Include blueberries.
- Blend everything until its uniform and the blender is clean.
- Blend in 240 ml of milk until the mixture is fluid enough to move about in the blender.
- The smoothie should be thin enough so that you can easily drink it, so keep adding milk a bit at a time until it's the right consistency for you.
- Immediately distribute the smoothie among two or three glasses.
