Blackberry Cream Cheese Dip
Creamy and warm, this baked cream cheese dip mixes the sweet and juicy blackberries with the savory tastes of garlic and scallions. It would go well with crackers or toast.
Ingredients Needed For Making This Item
- At room temperature 230 grams cream cheese
- 115 grams pepper jack shredded cheese
- 65 grams sour cream
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 1 1/2 Tablespoons of green onions or sliced scallions
- 1/2 Tsp. kosher salt
- 1/8 Tsp. black pepperfreshly ground
- 170 grams divided Blackberries
- 1 green onion or scallion, sliced for garnish
- 1 crackers or sliced baguette
Directions

- Preheat the oven to 190 °c.
- In a mixing bowl or other suitable container, place the cream cheese.
- Distribute the minced garlic, sour cream, and shredded pepper jack cheese.
- Mix in 1 1/2 teaspoons of chopped green onions or scallions.
- Combine half a teaspoon of kosher salt with one-eighth of a teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper.
- Remove the cream cheese mixture from the heat and stir until the ingredients are combined.
- Halve the remaining blackberries crosswise, and then gently stir them into the cream cheese.
- Scoop the dip out and spread it equally on a small, shallow baking dish.
- Bake till bubbles form on the edges, 18-22 minutes.
- Any extra blackberries should be utilized as decoration.
